Happy Monday! This is my third day of no work because of this crazy weather. I'm not complaining though, I have gotten a lot done...well at least at home. I conveniently left my computer at work, so wasn't able to do too much school planning. What is up with this weather though?? It is has been so cold that all I want to eat are soups, chili or anything to warm me up. I seriously can't get warm even with the heat on and fire going. With that said, this week I am sharing 5 warm and comforting recipes that you can add to your menu this week or Winter season. Stay cozy and warm friends!
Thanksgiving Break is finally here! Although I won't be with my whole family, I am glad to spend time with loved ones. There is so much to be thankful for. Our family has grown by 2 this year. My two older sisters both had babies boys and they are the most precious human beings. I am thankful for my job being closer to home and the amazing kids I get to teach each day. Life is good!
I feel like everyone needs a cozy flannel, especially with this weather lately...brrrrr! It's perfect to dress up or down and because of the many colors it usually has, it is versatile. I loved pairing this flannel from L.L. Bean with a neutral sweater and fun desert boot wedges (I love these !) I also have a red sweater that I feel like would go perfectly with this flannel and great to wear around Christmas time.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. This week is not only exciting because I only have a few days of work, but it is also my BIRTHDAY week! In honor of my birthday, I am sharing 5 items that are on my birthday wishlist! Yes, some of them are a little over the top, but a girl can dream right?!
1. Gucci Handbag
2. Kendra Scott Decker Tassel Earrings
3. Nike Tanjun Sneaker
Chic Wish Sweater
It's Thursday and one day closer to the weekend. Yay!!! I have had a busy week with parent/teacher conferences and end of the quarter tasks. Although tiring at times, I am blessed to have an amazing group of students and parents that support what I do each day.
Today I am sharing this simple but vibrant outfit. Thank goodness blanket scarves are still a current trend because I love them so much! There are so many great color patterns and styles that make it perfect for any Fall/Winter outfit. These items are already in my closet, which is why I link a lot of similar styles and not exact. I am an average human being and can't/won't go shopping every week for new items. My wallet would really hate me. My passion is to share inspiration and show you that you can take items you already have and put them together to make a beautiful outfit, that makes you feel amazing.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I got to spend Saturday with my nephew, Thomas, while his mommy was working. He is the most precious and squishy little guy. Then Dane and I had a relaxing evening watching the World Series at one of our favorite local places, Oh George! Tables and Taphouse. It's almost like our own Cheers, except I don't think they know our names.
This week I wanted to share 5 of my favorite things at the moment. Whether it be a recipe, product, or clothing item...hopefully it is something that you will find useful.
CAPRESE CHICKEN : The Novice Chef
This recipe is one of my favorites right now. I love making it in cast iron!
THE BEST CREAMER
Thanks to my sister, Melissa for getting me hooked on this. My mom now knows when we all are at her house that she better have it stocked. It is low calorie, all natural and the best flavor.
NUME CURLING WAND
This wand gives the best waves! I combine it with a regular curling iron to give more body.
Ok...these tassel earrings are my favorite and they are only $10! They come in a variety of colors and are super cute.
This is one of my favorite hair products. I use it before blow drying my hair. It adds the perfect shine and it smells amazing, all while you are protecting your hair! Note: A little goes a long way.
